The Buffalo Bills and Caesars Entertainment, owner of the World Series of Poker, on Friday announced a deal to make the casino developer a partner with the franchise in the arena of sports betting.
The multi-year deal names Caesars the “official mobile sports betting partner” of the
team. Caesars plans to open a “new sportsbook-style premium club lounge” at Highmark Stadium. More details on the space are expected later this year.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Caesars Sportsbook gains access to the use of official Buffalo Bills logos and marks, which will boost the gambling platform in the Empire State market, which launched earlier this month. Caesars is one of a handful of online sports betting firms in the competitive market.
“This partnership gives us the opportunity to connect with one of the most passionate fan bases in all of sports,” said Chris Holdren, Co-President of Caesars Digital. “We’re ready to welcome Bills fans into the Caesars Empire and offer them access to best-in-class hospitality experiences through our Caesars Sportsbook app as we continue to expand our footprint across the state of New York and beyond.”
“The Caesars Sportsbook app is a premier sports betting app that connects sports fans and delivers best-in-class experiences,” said the Buffalo Bills in a statement. “We’re very excited to work together with Caesars to engage Bills fans throughout Western New York and Southern Ontario, bringing these unique experiences right to their fingertips. We look forward to the new attraction Caesars will bring to Highmark Stadium next season, and to working with Caesars Sportsbook for many years to come.”
In addition to New York, Caesars’ online sportsbook is active in Arizona, Colorado, Iowa, Tennessee, Indiana, Louisiana, Michigan, New Jersey, Virginia, and West Virginia.
