The PSPC is back!

The live poker scene is getting busier and more competitive, so the timing is perfect for PokerStars to announce perhaps the most beloved event outside of the World Series of Poker.

The PokerStars Players No Limit Hold’em Championship (PSPC) will take place from January 22 to February 3 next year as part of the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (PCA)

Once again hundreds of Platinum Pass winners will be set to attend the $25,000 High Roller event that really caught the imagination of the poker world in 2019. The unique format saw over 300, mostly amateur, players win poker’s version of the ‘golden ticket’ to this nosebleed event.

“We have missed our live events as much as our players, so it is our true pleasure to announce the PokerStars Players Championship will take place at Baha Mar in January,” said Severin Rasset, Managing Director & Commercial Officer, PokerStars. “Beautiful location, hundreds of qualifiers, with millions to win. If there is one tournament to choose for a once-in-a-lifetime experience, it will be the PSPC. We will provide more details soon on how to get your hands on a Platinum Pass – stay tuned!”

More European events announced

EPT Barcelonna returns

That wasn’t the only major event announced this week, two more European Poker Tour events have been confirmed for 2022.

EPT Barcelona is back between August 8-21 and EPT Prague returns to its usual scheduling from December 7-18

In addition the next UK & Ireland Poker Tour (UKIPT) event has been confirmed for Dublin from May 16-22.

Finally a joint ESPT & UKIPT event taking place in Malta will happen from June 22-26. Presumably a ‘UK’ event in Malta is a reference to how popular the island is amongst British ex-patriots.

Satellites to all this events will be running around the clock at PokerStars.
