Angelique Kerber vs Daria Kasatkina Prediction
A battle of two former finalist at Indian Wells will happen today at 2 pm ET. 10th seed Kerber and 20th seed Kasatkina will go head-to-head for the nine time in their careers. Their current head-to-head is split at 4-4, with Kasatkina winning their most recent meeting in three sets at the 2019 Canadian Open.
Saturday Night Thriller! 😮
— wta (@WTA) October 10, 2021
Kerber enters the Round of 32 match coming off a three set win over unseeded Katerina Siniakova. Kasatkina will be entering the match with a little more rest as her Round of 64 opponent, Astra Sharma retired from their match at 4-3 in the first set.
This could possibly be the closest game of the day, as both players bring in experience as success. Both are very familiar with the conditions here in California.
The two have different styles of play. Kerber is extremely strong on defense, and uses her strength to use the entire court, which causes issues for her opponents. Kasatkina’s game is full of variety. The 24-year old is known to throw her opponents off with her variety of shots.
Regardless of the winner of this match, it looks like it will most likely go the distance.
Best Bet: Ov 2.5 sets (+125)
Ons Jabeur vs Danielle Collins Prediction
This will be the second meeting between Jabeur and Collins. Collins has taken their one and only match that happened at the 2020 French Open. Collins won the Round of 16 match in three sets.
Jabeur enters this match after defeating Anastasija Sevastova in three sets. Collins, on the other hand, will enter this match a bit more rested then Jabeur after her Round of 64 opponent, Lauren Davis retired from the match after losing the first set 6-1.

Both players have had great stretches of play this year. Jabeur entered this tournament after a finals appearance in Chicago just last year. She went on to win her first career singles title earlier this year. Collins also won her maiden singles title earlier this year, and then went on to win her second shortly after.
This match should also be an exciting, close one, as both players continue to showcase their strength. Despite Jabeur heading into the match as the slight favorite to win, Collins might have the edge here.
Best Bet: Collins (+105)
Paula Badosa vs Cori Gauff Prediction
This will be the first ever career meeting between Badosa and Gauff. The two are set to take the court for their Round of 32 match tonight at 9pm ET.
Badosa comes into the match after defeating Dayana Yastremska 6-4, 2-6, 6-2, and Gauff beat Caroline Garcia 6-3, 7(7)-6(2), 6-1 to earn her spot here.
The 🔝 seed rolls on
Karolina Pliskova and Coco Gauff advance to the third round, while Chicago champion Garbine Muguruza falls.

Prior to this tournament, Badosa didn’t have much experience at Indian Wells. Her only other match was in the qualifying round where she lost to Veronika Kudermetova.
It’s crazy to think that Gauff is actually younger than the two other teenagers who made a splash at the US Open last month, Emma Raducanu and Leylah Fernandez. It feels like Gauff has been around for a while. She is still the youngest player to be ranked in the Top 300.
Gauff is the slight favorite heading into this match, and should be able to come out with the win, but don’t be surprised if Badosa takes a set.
Best Bet: Ov 2.5 sets (+125)
