Big names and massive stacks dominated the headlines on Day 23 of the 2026 World Series of Poker.

Veteran pro Faraz Jaka navigated a minefield of a field to capture the chip lead heading into the final day of the $2,500 Freezeout, while high-stakes crusher Alex Foxen built a towering stack to top the surviving 31 players in the $25k PLO High Roller.

There was also a second $10,000 Razz Championship title for Calvin Anderson, the only bracelet awarded on Wednesday.

Combined with a flurry of action in the mixed-game streets and a massive kickoff to the Millionaire Maker, PokerNews is the perfect place to catch up with all of action at the WSOP.

After a total of ten levels of one hour each, not only the money bubble burst but the field was cut down to only 31 players. Upon bagging and tagging the chips for the night, Alex Foxen continued his already impressive resume throughout the last two and a half weeks to once again sit atop the leaderboard.
