Alice Cooper and Criss Angel announced Thursday their first public collaboration. “Welcome to Our Nightmare!,” a hybrid spectacle of rock music and illusion, is set to play the Criss Angel Theater inside Planet Hollywood on March 6-7, 2026.
In previous interviews, Angel has credited Harry Houdini, KISS and Cirque du Soleil as inspirations, never Cooper in any direct quote. Still, the pairing seems thematically aligned. Both performers are known for theatrical shows that blend over-the-top stagecraft with camp, horror and spectacle.
Cooper’s 1970s shows featured electric chairs, boa constrictors and — on his “Billion Dollar Babies” tour in 1973 — the mock beheading of a dwarf actor. Angel, meanwhile, built his “Mindfreak” brand on televised stunts and live illusions that combine danger and psychological manipulation.
Cooper, now 77, will perform a 90-minute greatest-hits set including “Poison,” “I’m 18” and “School’s Out.” Angel is expected to deliver a truncated version of his “Mindfreak” residency, which he has performed Wednesday through Sunday at Planet Hollywood since switching from the Luxor in December 2018.
Tickets go on sale 10 a.m. PT Thursday, November 6 via Ticketmaster.com/crissangel, with a presale starting 10 a.m. PT Tuesday, November 4. Ticket add-ons include a limited number of Ultimate VIP Nightmare Experiences, which offer a backstage Cooper/Angel meet & greet and a commemorative collectibles package.
There is no word on which headlining artist will open the two-night stand, though a strong possibility is that they will switch off.
