Sportsbook technology provider Altenar has become the title sponsor of the 2026 Gran Fondo Isle of Man, set to take place July 25-26 with a new format that adds gravel and cross-country mountain bike races to its existing program.
The 2026 edition introduces dedicated gravel and cross-country mountain bike events alongside participation rides for cyclists of varying ages and skill levels. Based in Ramsey, the weekend concludes with 100 km flagship races that take riders through the Isle of Man’s landscapes before finishing in Port Erin.
The sponsorship adds to Altenar’s existing backing of the Isle of Man Marathon and Half Marathon and forms part of the company’s investment in initiatives tied to healthy lifestyles and the promotion of the island to an international audience. Altenar is headquartered on the Isle of Man.

Gran Fondo Isle of Man has attracted more than 8,000 participants since its launch, with entrants coming from countries including Japan, Australia, South Africa and the US. The event is regarded as one of the leading participation cycling competitions in the British Isles.
The 2026 format combines gravel riding, cross-country mountain biking and family-oriented cycling activities over the course of the weekend.
