Bally’s Intralot S.A. announced that its Intralot Ireland Limited subsidiary has signed a seven-year contract extension with Premier Lotteries Ireland (PLI), extending their partnership through November 2034.

The agreement will support PLI’s continued operation of the Irish National Lottery for the remainder of its license period while reinforcing Bally’s Intralot’s position as the lottery operator’s long-term technology and services provider.

“As we look to the future, this agreement provides a strong platform for continued innovation and growth, ensuring we can deliver a modern, secure, and world-class National Lottery that places responsible play at its heart while continuing to benefit communities across Ireland.”

As part of the renewed deal, Bally’s Intralot will modernize PLI’s technology infrastructure by deploying its LotosX Omni solution and PlayerX Player Account Management platform. The cloud-based system is designed to support lottery operations across both retail and digital channels, featuring enhanced retailer management, instant games management, device management, and content management capabilities.

The contract also includes support and maintenance services, as well as cloud operations and cybersecurity services during the first year, aimed at ensuring the long-term security, reliability, and performance of PLI’s technology environment.

According to Bally’s Intralot, the upgraded platform will enable PLI to improve operational efficiency, accelerate innovation, strengthen player engagement, and bring new products and initiatives to market more quickly. The modernization is also expected to provide a secure, scalable, and resilient operating environment while maintaining high standards of service for players and retailers across Ireland.
