Barcelona and Spain forward Salma Paralluelo has suffered an injury to the medial collateral ligament (MCL) in her left knee, the Spanish football federation confirmed on Saturday.
The 21-year-old was withdrawn from Spain’s Nations League semifinal first leg match against Sweden on Friday and has returned to Barcelona to begin rehab.
