BetMGM has added Lightning Link High Stakes to its online casino offering in Alberta, extending the popular Aristocrat slot franchise into another regulated iGaming market, a key development in Aristocrat Interactive’s North American online rollout of the title.
The online slot is now available through BetMGM Casino in Alberta, as well as the operator’s platforms in Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Ontario. Its launch gives players access to an online version of a franchise that has operated on casino floors worldwide for more than a decade.
Lightning Link High Stakes is built around the franchise’s Hold & Spin mechanic and offers multi-denomination play and Cash-on-Reels. During Free Games, its “Big Reel” feature combines the center reels into a single large symbol. The game also includes shared progressive jackpots, including a Grand Jackpot.
The title uses a Las Vegas-style lounge setting featuring casino and luxury-themed imagery, including roulette wheels, poker chips, and cars. It is based on Aristocrat’s Lightning Link franchise, which first debuted more than 10 years ago and became recognized among slot players and casino operators for its jackpot-based format.
