What Will Hellmuth’s Entrance Be?

In the past, Hellmuth has donned numerous costumes, including Gandalf from The Lord of the Rings, General Patton, and, most recently last summer, a heavy metal rockstar. So, what will it be this year?

Nothing is set in stone yet, but Hellmuth did share a potential idea on a recent episode of the BetRivers Table Talk Podcast Presented By PokerNews. Check it out around the 27:05 mark.

“Main Event entrance coming. Dressed as Superman, but in the black [costume] Superman,” Hellmuth told host Chad Holloway. “My son, Nick… Batman. Phillip… Green Lantern. Jungleman is talking about Captain America, maybe.”

When Holloway pointed out that the first three characters mentioned were DC Comics characters, but the last was Marvel, Hellmuth didn’t seem concerned.

“Yeah, yeah, yeah, but what can you do,” Hellmuth responded.

Say what you will about Hellmuth’s Main Event entrances, but it seems a lot of players love them, or at least want to be a part of one. Within 24 hours of opening up the giveaway, more than 150 players had already responded to the post.
