Got a pair of 9s in Blackjack? Don’t panic! While it looks like a strong 18, knowing when to split or stay is the key to beating the dealer.

In this video, we break down the simple rule for 9s:

STAY if the dealer is showing an Ace, 10, or 7.

SPLIT against anything else (2 through 6, 8, and 9).

Why? Against a 7, your 18 already beats their likely 17. Against a 10 or Ace, you’re already an underdog, so don’t put more money out there. But against those “weak” dealer cards, splitting gives you two chances to build even stronger hands!
