Napoleon Games will take control of the Brussels casino currently operated under the Viage brand on January 1, 2027, after being selected through a concession process that attracted six operators, according to reports in Brussels

The 15-year license was awarded by the mayor. The Land and Economic Affairs Authority estimated the concession’s value at 750 million, excluding VAT.

Casinos Austria International has operated Viage since 2010. Located on Boulevard Anspach in the pedestrian area of central Brussels, the venue spans 14,300 square meters and operates under a Class I gaming license as one of Belgium’s nine casinos. According to Viage, it receives ‘more than 310,000 visitors per year’.

Napoleon Games has been owned by Romanian group Superbet since 2021. The company also operates the Grand Casino Knokke in Knokke-Heist and 25 gaming arcades across Belgium, employing approximately 400 people.

The casino license was awarded to Napoleon Games as part of a concession call launched by the City of Brussels. The city said it was happy to ‘continue the development of an emblematic establishment in the city centre, a player in the tourist, economic and event attractiveness of the capital.’
