Casino Guru and Gamble Alert Nigeria have entered into a cooperation agreement aimed at expanding educational resources and training opportunities for gambling operators and industry professionals in Nigeria.

The collaboration will focus on safer gambling and player protection education for industry stakeholders and customer-facing personnel. The initiative will make use of tailored programs and free courses offered through Casino Guru Academy.

Under the arrangement, Casino Guru will work with Gamble Alert Nigeria to distribute educational resources through the organization’s local network and industry connections, increasing access to training materials for stakeholders across the country.

Meaningful player protection depends on the knowledge and preparedness of the people making decisions inside the industry every day,” said Šimon Vincze, Head of Sustainable & Safer Gambling at Casino Guru.

“Gamble Alert brings a strong understanding of the local environment and valuable relationships with stakeholders in Nigeria,” Vincze added. “By cooperating, we can make practical education easier to access and support operators that want to strengthen their approach to safer gambling.”

As part of the cooperation, Gamble Alert will promote available educational resources through its professional network and communication channels. The training will cover areas including safer gambling practices, suicide prevention, complaint handling, player verification, and anti-money laundering procedures.

The organizations said the initiative is intended to provide gambling industry participants with access to training in operational and compliance-related topics.

“Africa’s gambling markets are evolving rapidly, and player protection frameworks must evolve alongside them,” said Fisayo Oke, Founder and CEO of Gamble Alert.

“At Gamble Alert, our work extends beyond awareness creation to include research, treatment, policy advocacy, industry training, and stakeholder collaboration,” Oke added. “By working with Casino Guru, we can further expand access to practical resources, strengthen professional competencies, and support the development of a safer and more accountable gambling ecosystem across Nigeria and Africa.”

Beyond educational programs, Casino Guru and Gamble Alert plan to share non-confidential information on local priorities and international practices related to player protection. The organizations will also explore additional areas of cooperation, including webinars for operators, awareness campaigns, and participation in industry events.

Casino Guru Academy provides free educational courses for iGaming professionals. The courses are developed with industry specialists and cover a range of operational, compliance, and responsible gambling topics.

Gamble Alert Nigeria is a responsible gambling organization focused on preventing gambling-related harm through education, research, treatment, advocacy, and stakeholder engagement.
