Chukchansi Gold Resort & Casino in Coarsegold, California, has opened Acorn Casino, the property’s largest dedicated smoke-free gaming venue, as operators respond to rising demand for tobacco-free entertainment options.
The 6,000-square-foot space adds more than 175 slot machines and four table games to a smoke-free environment. Acorn Casino operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, giving guests an additional venue to access Chukchansi Gold’s gaming floor without exposure to smoke.
“As more guests seek smoke-free entertainment options, we’re proud to expand our offerings with a new dedicated gaming experience designed entirely around their preferences,” said Deann Kamalani, Chairperson of the Tribal Council for the Picayune Rancheria of the Chukchansi Indians.
“Acorn Casino represents our continued investment in providing guests with more choices while delivering the outstanding gaming experience they’ve come to expect at Chukchansi Gold,” Kamalani added.
The smoke-free designation extends beyond the new gaming venue to cover much of the resort, including the hotel, NOHʔOʔ Cafe, Nativos, the Topgolf Swing Suite, the pool, Serenity Springs Spa, and the fitness center.
With the addition of Acorn Casino, Chukchansi Gold’s total gaming inventory now stands at 2,000 slot machines and 45 table games across the property.
