ELK Studios Releases Wild West Slot Heist Guys 2

ELK Studios has released Heist Guys 2, a sequel that brings back the three fictional criminals from the original slot series for another robbery mission. This time, the crew leaves the city behind and heads into the Wild West, where they aim to break into a bank and secure the biggest possible haul.

The five-reel, four-row slot features 1,024 ways to win and combines cascading gameplay with several bonus mechanics. Players can access multiplying Super Wilds, the State Jar, Bonus Drops, Super Bonus Drops and the returning Heist Game, with a maximum potential payout of 10,000x the bet.

Heist Guys 2 uses a medium-high volatility profile and offers a default RTP of 96%. The game supports stakes ranging from €/$0.20 up to €/$100, allowing players to adjust their betting level across different sessions.

New setting and updated slot mechanics

The sequel changes the environment from the original game’s modern setting to a cartoon-style Wild West saloon. The three Heist Guys now prepare their next operation among cowboy-themed surroundings, with the main gameplay taking place on a 5×4 grid.

ELK Studios replaced the previous cluster-based system with 1,024 ways to win. After each winning combination, symbols involved in the win disappear from the reels, while new symbols fall into place. Super Wilds remain on the grid and move to new positions before each refill, allowing additional winning opportunities through continued cascades.

The slot’s regular symbols include playing card icons featuring Q, K and A, along with keys, guns, dynamite and the three Heist Guys characters. Five matching low-value symbols can award between 0.2x and 0.5x the stake, depending on the symbol type.

A Super Wild appears on every spin and substitutes for standard paying symbols. These wilds begin without a multiplier and increase in value whenever they contribute to a winning combination. Their multiplier doubles after taking part in wins, and multiple Super Wild multipliers combine when they appear together in a single payout.

Bonus features lead players toward the bank

The State Jar provides another route to rewards. When State symbols appear at the end of a spin, they are collected into the jar. The feature can increase the jar level or release a prize, which may include cash rewards, eight free spins or access to the Heist Game.

The Bonus Drops feature activates when players collect three, four or five Bonus symbols in one spin. Depending on the number collected, players receive eight, ten or twelve free spins. If one of the triggering symbols is a Super Bonus symbol, the game awards the Super Bonus version, which starts with two guaranteed Super Wilds.

During Bonus Drops and Super Bonus Drops, Super Wilds and collected Heist Guys remain active between spins. Their positions may change, while any accumulated multipliers remain available for future wins.

The central feature of Heist Guys 2 remains the Heist Game. Players can trigger it by collecting all three characters after forming wins involving a Super Wild and a high-paying Guy symbol. The feature can also be awarded through the State Jar.

During the Heist Game, the three characters move across a town map toward a bank. Along the route, they encounter different locations and objects that influence the outcome. Safes provide cash prizes, guns allow the crew to remove guards or defeat outlaws, keys unlock access to the bank, and dynamite allows them to open the Super Safe containing the maximum reward.

Guards can capture the characters if they reach them without protection, while rescue areas can return captured members to the action. If the crew reaches the bank without a key, they attempt to break in. Successful entry allows access to larger prizes, while dynamite can unlock the Super Safe.

X-iter options provide feature access

According to the company’s website, like other ELK Studios releases, Heist Guys 2 includes the X-iter feature menu, giving players direct access to different bonus options.

The Bonus Hunt mode costs 2.5x the bet and increases the chance of triggering a bonus by more than three times. The Mega Bonus option costs 5x the bet and increases bonus chances sevenfold. Players can also purchase the Heist Game for 50x the stake, regular Bonus Drops for 100x, or Super Bonus Drops for 250x.

The expanded feature set gives players additional ways to reach rewards compared with the original Heist Guys release. While the Heist Game remains the main attraction, the sequel adds more opportunities to collect prizes through the State Jar and free spin mechanics.

Heist Guys 2 keeps the original concept of guiding the characters through a robbery route while introducing new gameplay elements. The addition of the Wild West theme, updated reel format and expanded bonus structure gives returning players a different version of the franchise while maintaining the central bank-heist gameplay.
