Entain plc has appointed Sheila Bangalore as an independent non-executive director with immediate effect.

Bangalore brings more than 20 years of experience across gaming, hospitality, and technology. Her previous roles include senior executive positions at Bally Technologies Inc. and Aristocrat Technologies Inc., as well as leadership experience at MP Materials Corporation.

She has also served on the board of Games Global Limited and currently sits as a Non-Executive Director at Alliance Entertainment Holding Corporation.

Sheila brings deep expertise in multi-jurisdictional regulation, capital markets and governance as well as having an established network across the gaming ecosystem,” the company said.

With the addition, Entain’s board increases to 11 members, including CEO Stella David, CFO Mike Snape, the chair, and eight independent non-executive directors.

Entain plc operates betting and gaming brands such as bwin, Coral, Ladbrokes, Partypoker, and PartyCasino. The FTSE 100 company operates in over 30 regulated markets and jointly runs BetMGM in the U.S. gaming and sports betting sector.

The appointment was made in accordance with UK Listing Rules.
