Fast Track has released the fourth episode of its new podcast series, From Zero to a Hundred, featuring company Co-Founder Simon Lidzén in conversation with Chief Marketing Officer Luis Sangiovanni. The episode is available through the podcast’s distribution channels on Spotify and YouTube.

The discussion considers how artificial intelligence is changing who can create working software and how quickly workplace ideas can be tested. It also addresses the limits of the technology, including why faster execution cannot substitute for the ideas, judgment and personality that give work its value.

Sangiovanni has spent his career in marketing, which gave him the capacity to identify the tools his team requires and the problems that merit attention. Until recently, converting those ideas into functioning software depended on other people. AI has allowed him to act on some of those ideas directly.

Fast Track said: “The conversation is about what happens when the tools to build things are no longer reserved for developers. Luis has spent his career in marketing, developing the curiosity to understand what his team needs and the problems worth solving. AI gave him a way to act on it directly.”

“But this episode is really about the culture needed to unlock that, where people feel confident enough to experiment, get things wrong and keep going. Honest, direct and useful whether or not marketing is your world.

The technology has created a new space in which Sangiovanni and his team can turn ideas into practical tools more quickly. This has included replacing repetitive administrative work and disconnected processes with software designed around the way the team operates.

Lidzén and Sangiovanni also discuss curiosity, creativity and fear, as well as the possibility that attitude may become more important than technical experience as working practices continue to change. The episode additionally includes an extended discussion about merchandise and shared exhaustion with LinkedIn.
