Garrett Adelstein, for the first time in nearly a year, will make his first-ever poker livestream appearance east of Las Vegas this week.
The Los Angeles high-stakes cash game legend will make his livestream return at The Lodge Card Club in Texas. Poker at the Lodge is returning to YouTube May 26 for the first time since the card room was raided and faced legal action on March 10.
Adelstein was once a headliner on Live at the Bike and Hustler Casino Live, right up until he accused Robbi Jade Lew of cheating him out of a six-figure pot in Sept. 2022. He was subsequently banned from HCL and has only appeared sporadically the past four years. But he’ll soon return to the livestream streets in an unfamiliar poker room.
Los Angeles Poker Legend Travels to Texas
Adelstein, who was the winningest player on Hustler Casino Live before the “Jack-Four” controversy, has played played over 600 hours on livestreamed poker shows, according to HighRollPoker.com. Every single one of those hours took place in Southern California or Las Vegas, his most recent appearance last August being a brutal session of No Gamble, No Future on PokerGO.
The high-stakes pro competed in six episodes of NGNF Season 7, losing over $200,000 in three of those shows. But he’s up nearly $2 million lifetime in tracked livestreams and televised poker shows. He will soon have a shot to prove he can dominate the biggest games in Texas on Poker at the Lodge. a 2024 Global Poker Awards-winning production with nearly 240,000 YouTube subscribers.
Adelstein, who recently ripped HCL’s response to the Jack-Four scandal, has been active on social media promoting his upcoming book, Beneath the Cards, a memoir he used to share unknown stories about his poker career and, he claims, provide new evidence that Robbi cheated him out of one of the most infamous hands in poker history.
Adelstein, on X, said that he’s going to play The Lodge stream on Wednesday and Thursday. The full lineup isn’t yet available, but he will be facing Doug Polk and Sam “Senor Tilt” Kiki, among others. He initially included Alan Keating in the lineup, but Polk clarified that Keating will not be playing.
Wednesday’s stakes will start at $50/$100, with the blinds jumping to $100/$200 on Thursday. Adelstein said he hasn’t played a hand of poker the past year.
