Grosvenor Poker NPL Updates & Schedule 2026

Grosvenor Poker has unveiled a series of exciting updates to its National Poker League (NPL), alongside the release of its full 2026 poker calendar.

The ever-popular NPL will see updates to its league structure and prize distribution, including the launch of a new Low Roller League, which will reward the top nine players from smaller buy in events with prizes of up to £5,000.

The changes to the 2026 calendar are headlined by the introduction of £100,000 prize pool G300 tournaments at the larger stops, alongside reduced buy in £50,000 GTD G200 events, ensuring a wide variety of high class action across the season.

These updates look set to ensure the 20th season of the Grosvenor UK Poker Tour will be bigger than ever, with the first stop getting underway at London’s Victoria Casino in just a few weeks’ time at the beginning of January.

Grosvenor Announces Updates to the NPL 2026

With a little over a month to go before this year’s NPL champion is crowned on January 10, Grosvenor has lifted the lid on improvements to the National Poker League as the tour prepares to celebrate its 20th anniversary in 2026.

The £100,000 Invitational Playoff is set for its biggest expansion yet, growing to a 24 player finale that now welcomes the top three players from both the High Roller League and the newly created Low Roller League, joining the existing group of 18 qualifiers from the main NPL standings.

The introduction of the Low Roller League is sure to be welcomed by the player pool, giving smaller buy in regulars a dedicated leaderboard and a chance to play for meaningful year end rewards. The top nine players will secure cash prizes ranging from £500 through to £5,000 for the inaugural champion, with all cashes from NPL events priced at £300 and under counting toward the race. That includes the always colossal Goliath, which once again showed why it remains one of the most popular events on the UK poker scene.

At the opposite end of the buy in spectrum, the High Roller League will continue unchanged, with the top five performers receiving end of year payouts as usual. Grosvenor has introduced a subtle tweak to the overall NPL points system for 2026, adding an extra two points for each cash recorded beyond a player’s first twenty, rewarding those serial crushers for their consistency across the season.

There are also notable shifts to the tour calendar as the 25/50 and Mini Fest events will depart the schedule and make way for the new G300 and G200 tournaments, featuring guaranteed prize pools of £100,000 and £50,000 respectively.

The G300 should draw plenty of interest, offering a great structure with a six figure prize pool for a £300 buy in and taking place at some of the most prestigious cardrooms on the circuit. Meanwhile, the G200 Series offers a £50,000 guarantee but comes with a reduced buy in, providing strong value for players.

Running from January 8 to January 18, GUKPT Leg 1 will be held at London’s Victoria Casino, a fitting location to raise the curtain on what looks set to be a landmark 20th season for the Grosvenor UK Poker Tour.
