Hannes Jeschka Denies Juan Dominguez a Fifth GGMillion$ Title

Hannes Jeschka continued his impressive form in the $10,000 GGMillion$ at GGPoker by capturing his second title. Jeschka had six previous cashes, two of which were final table appearances, and one victory. He can now add another notch against each of those statistics after outlasting 199 opponents in the latest GGMillion$ and banking $406,521 of the $2,000,000 prize pool.

More than half of Jeschka’s GGPoker winnings stem from the GGMillion$ tournament. He was made to work hard for this latest victory, having to contend with some excellent players, including Juan Dominguez heads-up.

Dominguez is a regular in this high-stakes affair. He has played in almost 250 of these tournaments, cashing in 76, final-tabling 37, and winning 4. His quest for a fifth title will have to wait for another week.

$10,000 GGMillion$ Final Table Chip Counts

Andrii Derzhypilskyi was the shortest stack going into the final table, and he was the first finalist heading to the showers. He got his last 20 big blinds into the middle with ace-king only to run into the pocket kings of Anatoliy Zlotnikov.

Eighth place went to Paulius Vaitiekunas. He lost more than half of his stack with ace-jack versus Viacheslav Buldygin‘s pocket tens without seeing a flop then got his last 6.5 big blinds into the middle with ace-nine, which lost to the dominating ace-queen of Mikita Badziakouski.

Argentina’s Marco Perez was the next to fall. Perez allowed his stack to dwindle to fewer than three big blinds by the time he jammed with jack-ten. Jeschka three-bet to isolate, and turned over ace-king. A king on the flop proved enough to reduce the play count by one.

The first six-figure prize of the tournament found its way into Buldygin’s GGPoker account when he busted in sixth. Buldygin three-bet jammed for 15 big blinds from the big blind with jack-ten of spades after Jeschka had min-raised on the button. Jeschka put in calling chips and flipped over ace-queen of spades. An ace on the flop ultimately resulted in Buldygin bowing out.

The final five became four with the untimely demise of the dangerous Badziakouski. Dominguez shoved on the button with ace-seven, and Badziakouski called off his six big blinds from the big blind with the dominated ace-three. Dominguez’s seven-kicker played, and Badziakouski was done and dusted.

Four-handed play only lasted five minutes, and it was Zlotnikov who fell in fourth. Having early found pocket kings to bust Andrii Derzhupilskyi in ninth, Zlotnikov found the Cowboys again and min-raised under the gun. Dominguez three-bet all-in from the big blind with ace-four of diamonds, and Zlotnikov called off his 15 big blind stack. Zlotnikov’s pocket kings remained best until the river, when a deuce completed a straight for Dominguez.

The GGMillion$ advanced to heads-up when Viacheslav Balaev called off his last 10 big blinds with king-eight after Jeschka ripped in his huge stack from the small blind with nine-five of hearts. Lady Luck was shining down on Jeschka, and the five community cards gave the chip leader a nine and a five, while making Balaev fade a queen for a straight.

That hand gave Jeschka a more than two-to-one chip advantage over Dominguez, and the one-on-one contest lasted less than 10 hands.

The final hand was three-bet preflop and saw Dominguez lead for a one-third-pot bet on a queen-eight-three flop showing two spades. Jeschka raised Dominguez’s continuation bet and was called. Both players checked the offsuit nine on the turn, leading to four of spades on the river. Dominguez, holding ace-seven with the ace of spades, overbet shoved for almost twice the pot. Jeschka paused for around 30 seconds before calling with queen-ten with the ten of spades.

Jeschka became a two-time GGMillion$ champion and scooped $406,521 plus a $10,000 pckage to the 2026 WSOP Paradise live GGMillion$ event, while Dominguez fell in second, a result worth $318,747.
