Brettski dumped the final stack of cash onto the casino counter and watched the cashier count it twice.
“Twenty-eight thousand dollars?” the cashier asked.
Brettski nodded slowly.
Every dollar he had.
His friends Bluff and Dusty stared at him like he’d completely lost his mind. The plan was simple: one massive all-night gambling session chasing a life-changing jackpot. Either Brettski walked out rich enough to retire… or completely broke.
The casino was packed shoulder-to-shoulder because a legendary slot machine called “Golden Buffalo Inferno” had climbed to a record-breaking jackpot of $2.7 million.
