How to WIN MORE at blackjack
In single-deck blackjack, the goal is to achieve a hand value closest to 21 without exceeding it, with the dealer standing on soft 17. For hard totals (no Ace or Ace as 1), hit on 8 or less, double down on 9 against dealer’s 3-6, on 10 against 2-9, always double on 11, hit on 12-16 against dealer’s 7 or higher, and always stand on 17-21. For soft totals (hand contains an Ace), double down on Ace-2/Ace-3 against 5-6, on Ace-4/Ace-5 against 4-6, on Ace-6 against 3-6, stand on Ace-7 against 2, 7, or 8 and double against 3-6, and always stand on Ace-8/Ace-9. Split Aces and 8s always, 2s and 3s against dealer’s 2-7, never split 4s and 10s, treat 5s as a hard 10, split 6s against 2-6, 7s against 2-7, and 9s against 2-6 or 8-9. Avoid insurance and even money, and if counting cards, adjust plays and bets based on the count. This strategy increases winning chances but doesn’t negate the house edge; practice is key, and responsible gambling is crucial.
