The AGEM Index outperformed the three major U.S. stock indices in July 2026, rising 167.62 points to 1,874.77. The 9.8% monthly increase came as the Nasdaq declined 3.2% and the S&P 500 slipped 0.1%, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 0.3%.

Konami Corp. accounted for the largest positive contribution during the month. Its share price increased 16.8%, adding 108.32 points to the index. Aristocrat Leisure Limited recorded a 4.6% increase in its stock price, contributing a further 49.60 points.

Inspired Entertainment, Inc. was the largest negative contributor. A 16.6% decline in its share price reduced the AGEM Index by 0.91 points.

Five of the nine companies included in the index reported higher stock prices in July, producing six positive contributions and three negative contributions. Despite the monthly increase, the index remained 15.00 points, or 0.8%, below its level a year earlier.

The Association of Gaming Equipment Manufacturers produces the AGEM Index each month to track nine gaming suppliers operating globally. Five of the companies are based in the United States and trade on the New York Stock Exchange, Nasdaq or the over-the-counter market. Three are listed on the Australian exchange, while one trades on the Tokyo exchange.

The index is calculated using each company’s month-end stock price, adjusted for dividends and stock splits, and weighted according to an approximation of market capitalization. The market capitalizations of companies listed on foreign exchanges are converted into U.S. dollar equivalents at the end of each month to allow comparison.
