The Malta Poker Festival (MPF) Spring 2026 is set to return to the luxurious Portomaso Casino from April 19th to April 27th, promising an action-packed week of high-stakes drama and sun-soaked Mediterranean poker.
With a massive €500,000 Guaranteed Grand Event and a schedule bursting with diverse side events, this festival is cementing its status as a “must-attend” on the European poker circuit.
The Crown Jewel: €500,000 GTD Grand Event
The heart of the festival is the MPF Grand Event, which features a buy-in of €540+€60, which will be live-reported by PokerNews. The 2026 MPF schedule offers multiple ways for players of all bankrolls to get a piece of the half-million-euro prize pool:
On Friday, April 17, players can jump into a “Half Price” Day 1B for just €270+30. Another special price Day 1C is available on Sunday, April 19, for €440+60. Most Day 1 flights feature 40-minute levels and a 60K starting stack, providing plenty of room for deep-stack play. For those in a hurry, “Turbo” flights (Day 1E, 1J, and 1K) offer 15–20 minute levels.
Survivors will converge for Day 2 on Sunday, April 26, with the Final Table taking place on Monday, April 27.
MPF Spring Side Events
Beyond the Grand Event, the MPF Spring 2026 schedule is features a large variety of different mixed game formats and partner tournaments:
Fans of non-Hold’em formats can test their skills in the MPF 8-Game (April 20), the Sviten Special (April 21), and the HORSE 5 Mix (April 22). The festival hosts several beloved tour brands, including the APAT Maltese Championship, The Hendon Mob Championship, and the Betsson One Bullet.
The schedule includes the high-energy Mystery Bounty, the Ladies First! event (hosted by Amber Sullivan), and the MPF Seniors Event for players 50 and older.
