Martin Kabrhel

Few players in European poker command attention quite like Martin Kabrhel Martin Kabrhel at the moment.

Just a week on from winning his fifth WSOP bracelet in Event #10 €10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha Mystery Bounty, he’s on a mission to add his sixth and potentially the biggest title of his career so far.

Kabrhel leads the final 27 players in the 2025 WSOP Europe Main Event, chasing the first-place prize of €1,140,000.

A Shot at History

Should Kabrhel go on to capture the 2025 WSOP Europe Main Event title, it would elevate him to rare company, certainly among European poker players. More importantly, it would add a marquee Main Event trophy to his name.

Among European poker players, only one other player has won six or more WSOP bracelets — Benny Glaser — and a sixth for Kabrhel would see him two clear of the likes of European legends such as Adrian Mateos and Max Pescatori.

How Did We Get Here?

At the end of Day 3, just 37 players remained and it was Martin Kabrhel at the head of proceedings. According to live reporters, Kabrhel played nearly every pot and talked during all of them, his familiar phrases of “Not Like That!” and “Casino Royale!” ringing across King’s Resort.

Kabrhel led from the Italian pair of Claudio Di Giacomo and Lulei Hu, who were the only other players over four million chips — or 100 big blinds.

Now, with play midway through Day 4, Kabrhel has extended his lead at the top after eliminating the likes of Vlad Andrusca, Vlastimil Pustina and Serkan Kuru.

Other Notables Still in Contention

Kabrhel is one of four former WSOP bracelet-winners still remaining in the WSOP Europe Main Event, along with Yuhan Wang, who won the WSOP Europe Mini Main Event just over a week ago, and Jonas Lauck, who won the last of his two WSOP bracelets back in 2019.

The third former bracelet-winner is former professional basketball player Max Neugebauer, who is a former winner of this very event. He took down the WSOP Europe Main Event in 2023, taking home €1,500,000 after defeating a field of 187 players.

At the time of recording, Lauck is the best-placed of this trio, but still trails Kabrhel who still leads the field.
