For the third consecutive month, Michigan online casinos have surpassed $300 million in revenue.

In May, the online casinos in Michigan produced a total of $305.8 million in revenue, a 21.6% increase from a year ago when the state had $251.5 million in May 2025.

This is the third-highest monthly total for iGaming revenue in Michigan. Only March ($322.1 million) and December 2025 ($315.8 million) were higher.

Last month’s numbers were aided by bet365 Casino having their first full month of operation in the state, posting a strong first-month total.

May’s Michigan Online Casino Revenue Breakdown

Here’s a look at how each of the 15 online casinos in Michigan performed in May, compared to a year ago.

Data is provided by the Michigan Gaming Control Board via their revenue page.

Michigan’s May online casino revenue generated $61.5 million in state tax revenue, along with an additional $22.2 million going to city and local jurisdictions.

Bet365 Brings in $11 Million in First Full Month

In April, bet365 Casino debut in the state of Michigan, in the middle of the month with a launch on April 17.

In April, the new operator brought in $3.7 million, but that number jumped way up in the first full month of operation.

Altogether, bet365 tallied $11.1 million in May, a 421% increase from the $2.1 million PokerStars Casino did in May 2025.

Bet365 took over for PokerStars Casino through the available license from the Little Traverse Bay Bands of Odawa Indians. The tribe has to be pleased with this opening effort.

In all of 2025, PokerStars only amassed $25.7 million in iGaming revenue.

PokerStars never approached monthly revenue over $10 million. The largest monthly sum it ever recorded was $5.8 million way back in March 2021.

Golden Nugget Feels the bet365 Hit?

While bet365 was able to add some more revenue to Michigan’s total, it does seem some other online casinos took a hit.

Golden Nugget Casino was the most notable, as it dropped 46.7% year-over-year to just $6.0 million in May. This was the lowest monthly revenue total since April 2024 for Golden Nugget.

BetMGM Casino also saw year-over-year decline once again, dropping 4.6% from May 2025 to $64.3 million in revenue.

Horseshoe Casino and Four Winds Online Casino also saw year-over-year decline, but that had been in line with recent trends.
