Mohegan has named Joe Lobe as Senior Vice President, Chief Legal Officer & General Counsel, and Kelly Sullivan as Senior Vice President & Chief People Officer, adding two executives to its leadership team.

In his new position, Lobe will oversee Mohegan’s global legal, compliance and risk management functions while serving as a strategic adviser to the CEO and Executive Leadership Team.

Lobe joined Mohegan in 2008 and most recently served as Acting Chief Legal Officer. During his tenure, he has held leadership roles involving mergers and acquisitions, divestitures and corporate governance.

His experience includes regulatory strategy, negotiations involving complex commercial transactions, and enterprise risk management.

Meanwhile, Sullivan will direct Mohegan’s enterprise-wide people strategy and culture initiatives.

Previously serving as Vice President of People Operations, Sullivan will oversee the company’s global human capital strategy, including talent management, organizational design and employee development.

She brings more than 15 years of experience across the gaming, hospitality and entertainment sectors and has participated in major international development projects.

The appointments come as Mohegan continues to manage its portfolio of entertainment destinations and digital gaming operations in the United States and Canada while pursuing additional development projects.

Joe and Kelly are both highly respected leaders whose long tenure at Mohegan and deep institutional knowledge have been instrumental to our success,” said Joe Hasson, Chief Operating Officer of Mohegan. “Their leadership, expertise, and commitment to our organization strengthen our executive team as we continue to grow, evolve, and build on our position as a global leader in gaming entertainment and hospitality.”

Mohegan owns, develops, and manages entertainment resort properties in the United States and Canada.

Its US operations include resorts in Connecticut and Pennsylvania, while its Canadian operations are based in Niagara Falls, Ontario. The company also operates Mohegan Digital, its iGaming division, which provides online gaming solutions.
