Figures released by the Nebraska Racing and Gaming Commission show that additional capacity, including a permanent facility in Grand Island and expansion at WarHorse Casino Omaha, coincided with the increase.

Grand Island Casino reported the largest year-over-year rise among the state’s casinos. reached $5.6 million in , up 85.5% from $3 million. The property opened its permanent facility in April.

WarHorse Casino Omaha generated $9.9 million in , the highest total among casinos. The figure represents a 62.1% increase year over year following its April expansion.

WarHorse Casino Lincoln reported $7.7 million in revenue, up 33.6% compared with the same month last year. At Harrah’s Columbus, revenue reached $2.1 million, rising 7% year over year. Lake Mac Casino, which opened in August, recorded $1.1 million in revenue.

Slot machines generated $22.5 million of the statewide total, increasing 61.8% year over year.

Table games contributed $2.1 million, up 17.4%. Electronic table games added $858,476, while retail sports betting produced $877,696.
