Following a record-setting month in May, Ontario iGaming revenue had a slight step back in June, coming in with CA$316.8 million.

That’s the third-highest monthly revenue total ever for the Ontario online casinos.

June was a 2.9% decrease from May’s record total of $326.4 million. However, last month saw a year-over-year increase in revenue of 30.4% compared to June 2025’s $243.0 million.

Growth Rate climbs back over 30%

The online casinos in Canada have primarily seen the headlines go toward the Alberta regulated market launch, with Alberta online casinos now legal and running.

But, Ontario continues to see consistent growth in its iGaming market that deserves headlines of its own.

Ontario had 40%+ growth year-over-year toward the final months of 2025, but that rate has slowed thus far in 2026. The most recent months of May and April with both under 30% year-over-year growth. June helped get things back up to a higher increase, moving past that elusive 30% mark.

Here’s a look at how much more revenue Ontario has generated throughout 2026.

  • January 2026: Up $77.9 million (33.7%)
  • February 2026: Up $61.7 million (28.8%)
  • March 2026: Up $76.8 million (31.8%)
  • April 2026: Up $71.3 million (29.4%)
  • May 2026: Up $66.6 million (25.6%)
  • June 2026: Up $73.8 million (30.4%)

While the overall growth rate continues to be smaller than 2025, the province is still seeing solidified gains in total revenue amount each month.

Yearly Ontario Revenue Also at 30%

June’s solid month helped push the yearly revenue to a 30% increase through the first six months of 2026 as well.

Ontario now sits exactly at 30% more through six months compared to a year ago at this time.

The continued growth of total revenue each month shouldn’t stop over the second half of 2026, either.

So, even though it is shy of $2 billion right now, the province still can keep the idea of $4 billion in iGaming revenue in its sights for 2026.

In 2025, the second half of the year brought in $1.72 billion in revenue. That was 20.1% higher than the first half total of $1.43 billion.

If that trend continues, Ontario would bring in $2.23 billion over the second half of 2026. That would push it well past $4 billion for the year.

Wagers Reach $49 Billion for 2026

With greater revenue comes greater wagers.

Prior to December, Ontario never had surpassed $8 billion in iGaming wagers for a single month. That has now occurred six times in the last seven months after June tallied $8.30 billion in wagers.

Dating back to December, here’s where the iGaming wagers have stacked up in Ontario.

  • December 2025: $8.27 billion
  • January 2026: $8.21 billion
  • February 2026: $7.65 billion
  • March 2026: $8.33 billion
  • April 2026: $8.14 billion
  • May 2026: $8.37 billion
  • June 2026: $8.30 billion

Through six months of 2026, Ontario has received $49 billion in online casino wagers. To put that in perspective, in 2023, the first full year of online casino gaming in the province, Ontario had $48.4 billion in iGaming wagers.
