Phil Hellmuth has made his annual grand entrance into the World Series of Poker Main Event, this year arriving dressed as a kind of BetRivers Poker Superman and surrounded by a cast of fellow superheroes.
The seventeen-time WSOP bracelet winner made his way through the Paris Ballroom alongside his sons, Phillip Hellmuth III and Nicholas Hellmuth, as well as Dan “Jungleman” Cates.
As always, the procession drew a sizeable media scrum, while hundreds of players already seated for Day 1 of the WSOP Main Event paused to watch the spectacle unfold, as Daniel Negreanu was winning his 8th WSOP bracelet elsewhere in the room.
Take a look at some of the best photos, captured by PokerNews’ Eloy Cabacas and Jess Beck, from this year’s superhero-themed entrance below…
A Super Entrance for Hellmuth & Friends
The Poker Brat emerged from the back halls of Paris Casino to a cacophony of flashbulbs and cameras, sporting an initialed yellow, gold, and black skintight superhero costume.

Hellmuth was joined by Jungleman, who was sporting a more angelic number as the party wound its way through the labyrinthine corridors of the casino.

Flanked by Cates and his son Nicholas (dressed as Captain America), Hellmuth entered the main ballroom at Paris as hundreds of poker players turned to watch the spectacle.

The heroes posed by the luminous WSOP sign, which stands by the entrance to the feature tables at the 2026 WSOP.

Although he wasn’t sat on the feature tables, there was enough time for Hellmuth and son Phillip III, who has sold action for this year’s Main Event at a 1.4 markup to much debate, to remind those under the lights of the record seventeen WSOP titles.

Finally, superhero Hellmuth took his seat. The gentleman next to him didn’t look too impressed…
