Poker Dream 21 is about to begin in Malaysia. While we await the action out there to commence, poker players can also start planning for a trip to Jeju in a little less than a month for another massive series.
The Poker Dream Jeju 22 kicks off May 1 and promises at least $1.5 million USD in prize money to be awarded just in the Main Event. All the action takes place inside the LES A Casino, and there are opportunities to receive free accommodations during your play. There are five packages available with free and discounted rooms for players in the Main Event, High Roller, and other tournaments at the partner Marriott and Jeju Shinhwa World Landing Resort.
What’s on the Schedule in Jeju?
The action kicks off on May 1 with Day 1A of the KRW 810,000 Jeju Open, a no-limit hold’em tournament. has four Day 1 starting flights all on the first day of the series and KRW 100M guaranteed. Day 2, the finale, will take place the following day.
If the Jeju Open isn’t the tournament for you or you bust early, you’ll have a few other options on the first day, including a KRW 600,000 7-Card Stud event. The KRW 3,000,000 QQPK Masters also begins on May 1 and should attract a sizable field.
The series features a wide mix of poker variants, buy-in levels, and tournament types. This includes a KRW 600,000 Ladies Event on May 4 and a KRW 6,000,000 High Roller on the same day. No-limit hold’em, pot-limit Omaha, seven-card stud, and Omaha hi-lo tournaments are all on the schedule between May 1 to May 10.
The biggest tournament of them all is the KRW 2,400,000 Main Event, which kicks off May 4. There’s KRW 2.2B guaranteed in the Main Event and 12 Day 1 starting flights players can enter. For those who bag Day 1 chips, they’ll all come back on May 8 for Day 2, followed by Day 3 on May 9, with the champion to be crowned the final day of the series.
