Controversial gambler and poker player Sean Perry is suing controversial gambler and poker player Mikki Mase for defamation over an accusation the latter made during a Twitter Spaces conversation.
Mase, who claims to be a winning baccarat player, made some sexual assault allegations against Perry that the sports bettor didn’t appreciate. As such, a lawsuit was filed on Aug. 29 in a Clark County, Nevada district court.
Perry is seeking financial retribution against Michael Meiterman (Mase), William Darnell Smith (aka “Mazi”), and Perry’s ex-employee, Charlie Cavalier. Popular YouTuber Spencer Cornelia, who occasionally exposes scammers within the gambling space, revealed details of the lawsuit in a recent video.
Poker Players Battle it Out in Court

Perry and Mase were apparently previously friends, as Cornelias points out by showing a clip of the two together on a podcast praising each other’s gambling skills. But the friendship took a sharp turn when they feuded over coming to a financial agreement during discussions about starting a podcast together.
That feud was on display during a Twitter Spaces conversation earlier this year, where Perry brought up Mase seeking a $50,000 payment for each podcast episode. Mase then joined the chat to speak, and the high-stakes gambler who has appeared in livestream poker games such as Hustler Casino Live made a claim about Perry that seemed to have come out of nowhere.
“Okay, so I have another question for you, Mikki,” Perry said.
“No, I have another question for you,” Mase responded, before accusing Perry of sexually assaulting a woman.
“There’s no such thing as allegations,” Perry answered.
“Not true,” Mase then fired back.
Cornelia pointed out that he hasn’t found any public statement anywhere accusing Perry of sexual assault. Mase then continued to accuse his former friend of such illegal behavior, to which Perry responded, “I have zero clue about any allegations whatsoever.”
Perry then offered to take a lie detector test, “and we can bet millions of dollars that what you’re saying is b******t, and what I’m saying is true.”
The gamblers agreed to the lie detector test bet, which Perry took but never publicly released the results. Mazi, who lost a boxing match to Perry earlier this year, added fuel to the fire by making similar sexual assault claims against Perry on X.
The lawsuit lays out nearly 15 instances, all in April 2025, in which Mazi accuses Perry of sexual assault. Cornelia, who has over 550,000 YouTube subscribers, said he’s been told that Mase is friends with the victim and that the alleged incident occurred at a party.
Perry has not been charged with a crime.
