Poker Pro Matt Stout Arrested for Assault at Private Game

A video recently surfaced showing poker player and Charity Series of Poker (CSOP) founder Matt Stout allegedly committing assault during a private game in Las Vegas.

Aaron Daliman (“daliman13”), a longtime gambler and poker player, shared a video on X of the incident, which occurred last Tuesday. The victim, who pressed charges, initially refrained from coming forward publicly with the accusations that Stout assaulted him and his 18-year-old daughter, who filmed the incident.

“I’m currently out of town handling a private family matter. Once I return and have had an opportunity to review the facts and consult with the appropriate parties, I will provide any appropriate statement,” Stout, who is visiting his terminally ill father in North Carolina, told PokerNews.

Incident Escalates Quickly

Daliman claims Stout has owed him $20,000 for quite some time, and he demanded payment. Stout, who had been living with Daliman, became aggressive in response and insulted and allegedly assaulted his daughter. The poker players had to be separated by another player in the game, but they continued to verbally spar.

“Do you think it’s fun for me to be the bigger person to a grown ass man?” Daliman’s daughter asked Stout.

“You owe me 20-grand and you’re going to talk to my f*****g daughter like that?” Daliman told Stout before asking when he’ll get paid.

Daliman then said Stout had promised to pay off the debt “by April,” which hasn’t happened.

Video then appears to show Stout turning the verbal argument into a physical altercation before another individual in the house jumped on top of him to stop the fight.

Backstory with Stout and His Ex-Girlfriend

Daliman, in his lengthy tweet thread, said he began playing with Stout years ago at Aria in Las Vegas. The two became friends and would eventually play regularly in Stout’s weekly home game, along with Stout’s now ex-girlfriend, Katie Morgan.

The friendship, according to Daliman, started to fizzle as the $20,000 debt lingered and Morgan and Stout, who have a child together, had a bitter separation. Morgan, an adult film star who was a regular at CSOP events and competed in the 2026 World Series of Poker (WSOP), accused Stout of abuse in a quote tweet response to Daliman’s thread.

“He was an extremely abusive partner both verbally and physically around my house breaking doors and furniture in fits of rage, screaming obscenities and harming himself with countless blows to his own head both with his fists and random objects,” Morgan, who said she left Stout several months ago, wrote.

Morgan continued to say that since she made Stout leave her house, he has been involved in physical altercations with the mutual friends he’s lived with, including Daliman. She said he also “smashed my windshield in public after a hockey game.”

CSOP Responds and Poker Community Takes Sides

The accusations on X sparked a heated debate from those who argued the incident was overblown and those who sided with Daliman. Mike Matusow came to the defense of Stout, his longtime friend.

Although some had a similar take to Matusow, many others had opposing views on the issue, including Caitlin Comeskey, who took shots at those she says are defending verbally and physically abusing women.

Brian Kip, Vice President of the Charity Series of Poker (CSOP), issued a statement to PokerNews.

“We are aware of the video involving our founder and president that is circulating online and are conducting an internal investigation. The actions depicted do not reflect the values or mission of Charity Series of Poker. Our organization remains committed to bringing communities together to raise critical funds and awareness for the nonprofit organizations we proudly support.

“Our focus remains on serving our charitable partners, donors, volunteers, and the communities that rely on our collective efforts,” Kip said.

Stout is known in parts of the poker world for the CSOP he runs and also as a poker player. He hosts home games in Las Vegas and has over $4.6 million in live tournament cashes recorded by The Hendon Mob, including eight WSOP Circuit rings and 306 cashes across all World Series of Poker-branded events.
