Poker vlogger Mariano Grandoli took issue with Nick Palma tanking in a massive pot during Wednesday’s Hustler Casino Live game, and the latter wasn’t about to sit back and take it.
Palma, who won his first World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet earlier this week on the WSOP Online platform in Nevada, isn’t one to shy away from confrontation, especially when another player is the instigator. That mentality was on display in his first appearance on the popular poker livestream from Hustler Casino in Los Angeles.
Palma Battles Poker Vlogger

Palma played fairly tight throughout much of the five-hour stream, posting a 23% VPIP, far and away the lowest at the table. But he did turn a profit on the session, thanks largely to a monster pot he played against Grandoli.
The hand began with Henry raising to $600 from the lojack with 8♠8♦. Palma, in the cutoff with A♦A♣, made it $2,200 to go. Kevin looked down at J♠J♥ in the small blind and called, before Grandoli, who had Q♣J♣ in the big blind, four-bet to $8,000.
“Nicky P” then five-bet his aces to $17,000, receiving a call only from the popular poker vlogger. The flop came out 3♣Q♥3♠, enticing to both players. Palma, following a check, downsized his continuation bet to $5,300, a wager that saw his opponent call before the A♠ on the turn locked up the hand for pocket aces.
Both players checked the turn, and then the dealer turned over the 3♥ on the river. Grandoli, who had $25,050 behind, checked. Palma, the bigger stack, shuffled his chips around for nearly two minutes before moving all in.
Grandoli folded his hand in frustration, asking his opponent, “Can we go a little faster?” as he tossed his cards into the muck. Palma didn’t like that comment and said, “We just played a f*****g 60k pot.”
“I know, but it’s just, like, we’re not going to get any hands if they go super slow, brother,” Grandoli responded.
“Surely you’re not being a joker, right? You’re a joker?” Palma asked.
“I’m not joking,” Grandoli fired back.
“No, you’re a clown then,” Palma told his opponent. “We’re playing a 60k pot, what are you talking about? You’re not even right.”
The two poker players would argue about who is right for a few minutes. Palma then claimed, “If I could play poker with you every day then I will destroy you.”
Palma went on to turn a $18,825 profit before the stream concluded. Grandoli, who isn’t running as hot as he did in 2024, was the biggest loser in the game, down $84,025.
Nicky P, a colorful character on poker X, won his first WSOP bracelet this week in a $2,000 Big PKO event for $78,998. He also has $3.2 million in live tournament cashes, according to The Hendon Mob.
