PokerStars is taking the North American Poker Tour (NAPT) to the virtual world. The operator’s free-to-play social casino, Vegas Infinite (formerly PokerStars VR), will host a virtual NAPT series running alongside the live festival in Las Vegas from November 3–12, 2025.
Virtual NAPT Mirrors Live Las Vegas Festival
The new Vegas Infinite NAPT Series will run on the same schedule as the live events at Resorts World Las Vegas, giving players around the globe a chance to experience the excitement of the NAPT from anywhere. Players can take part in virtual versions of key events, including trophy-awarding Main Events designed after their real-world counterparts. Vegas Infinite will also feature the NAPT Community League, a draft-style competition where participants can join teams, select captains, and compete for in-game rewards and recognition.
NAPT’s Live Return and Expanded Experience
The 2025 NAPT Las Vegas marks the third straight year the series returns to Resorts World Las Vegas, following its 2023 comeback after a twelve-year hiatus. This year’s schedule features 48 live events, including the $5,300 NAPT Main Event with a guaranteed $3 million prize pool, the $10,300 Mystery Bounty, and the $50,000 Super High Roller. Qualifiers and Silver Pass giveaways have been running for weeks, with dozens of players already securing their seats through PokerStars, PokerGO promotions and the PokerNews Podcast giveaway.
Meanwhile, Vegas Infinite continues to expand the way players engage with the brand. Originally launched in 2018 as PokerStars VR, the platform has evolved into a full social casino experience offering poker, blackjack, roulette, slots, and more. It is available across major VR systems including Meta Quest, PlayStation VR2, and HTC Vive, as well as desktop and mobile devices. Though the platform is free-to-play and does not support real-money gaming, it has developed a large and active community, blending the thrill of live poker with the immersion of virtual reality.
