Online gaming content provider Pragmatic Play has entered Alberta’s newly regulated iGaming market, expanding its presence in Canada and North America.

The supplier has received certification for its portfolio of online casino games in the province, including new slot titles such as Fury of Anubis and Big Bass Blast, along with popular games such as the Gates of Olympus series.

The company’s live casino offering, featuring games including blackjack, baccarat, roulette, and interactive game shows, has also been approved for the Alberta market.

The launch follows the opening of Alberta’s regulated online gaming market on Monday, creating new opportunities for licensed operators and content suppliers.

Pragmatic Play already has an established presence in Canada through partnerships with several operators in Ontario, where its portfolio of online casino content is available to players. The Alberta expansion supports the company’s broader North American growth strategy as it continues to deliver its multi-product portfolio through a single API.

Sharon McHugh, Director of PR at Pragmatic Play, said: “Alberta represents an exciting new adventure for regulated iGaming in Canada, and Pragmatic Play is delighted to be among the first suppliers bringing premium entertainment to operators and their players from day one.

“Building on our strong momentum in Ontario, this expansion reinforces Pragmatic Play’s long-term commitment to the Canadian market. We look forward to working closely with partners across the province as the market continues to develop.”
