RGPS Joplin

The RunGood Poker Series (RGPS) is headed to Downstream Casino Resort in Joplin, Missouri, beginning April 7 with a packed week of ring events and satellites.

Action at the popular Midwest stop kicks off with a $300 Seniors Ring Event (50+) at 10 a.m. local time, followed by the $300 Series Opener later that afternoon. The series runs through April 12, ending with the conclusion of the $600 Main Event and a final bounty tournament.

Players can expect a full slate of RGPS favorites throughout the week, including multiple PokerNews PowerStack flights, Omaha events, and daily satellites feeding into the biggest tournaments on the schedule.

Series Highlights

One of the first major events on the schedule is the $300 PokerNews PowerStack Ring Event, which features a $25,000 guaranteed prize pool and three starting flights across April 7–8.

Flight A begins at 7 p.m. on April 7, followed by Flight B at 12 p.m. on April 8 and Flight C later that evening at 6 p.m. Players who advance will return on April 9 for the final day, where the first PokerNews-branded ring winner of the series will be crowned.

Those who miss out on an early bag — or arrive later in the week — will still have plenty of opportunities to get involved. A $300 One Day NLH Ring Event runs on April 9, while Pot-Limit Omaha players get their turn on April 10 with the $300 PLO Ring Event.

The headline tournament of the week is the $600 Main Event, which features a $100,000 guaranteed prize pool and multiple starting flights beginning April 9.

Day 1A starts at 6 p.m. on April 9, with additional flights running April 10 and April 11. The final starting flight takes place Saturday afternoon before surviving players return on April 12 to play down to a winner.

PokerNews will be in the building providing live reporting coverage throughout the Main Event.
