Rokas Asipauskas

A marathon heads-up battle saw Lithuania’s Rokas Asipauskas emerging victorious over Alex Keating in Event #6: $5,000 Super COLOSSUS at World Series of Poker (WSOP) Paradise in the Bahamas to win $504,950 and his first bracelet.

In doing so, he denied the well-known American pro (who has no relation to popular high-stakes cash game player Alan Keating) his second bracelet. Keating won his first bracelet in the $5,000 penultimate event at the 2023 WSOP in Las Vegas.

Also looking for a second bracelet was poker coach Jonathan Little (5th – $116,700), while fellow longtime American pro Chino Rheem was once again denied a maiden bracelet as he finished fourth for $162,500.

The final table also included Canada’s Francois Billard (3rd – $230,600), Britain’s Kevin Appleyard (6th – $85,400), India’s Krishna Madhariwar (7th – $63,700) and Austria’s Armin Rezaei (8th – $48,400).

The event drew 527 runners for a prize pool of $2,555,950. Other players who cashed include Shannon Shorr, Anthony Zinno, Nadya Magnus, Kane Kalas, Martin Jacobson and Tom Middleton.
