SBC Summit Americas will return next week with a new networking initiative aimed at helping gaming industry executives make more targeted business connections as the sector navigates regulatory change and evolving market dynamics across North and Latin America.

The event, scheduled for June 9-11 at the Broward County Convention Center, is expected to bring together thousands of operators, affiliates, suppliers and other industry stakeholders.

The summit will introduce SBC Connections, a networking programme designed to help attendees identify potential business partners, schedule meetings and participate in curated networking formats.

“The industry doesn’t necessarily need more networking opportunities; it needs better ones,” Rasmus Sojmark, CEO and founder of SBC, said. “SBC Connections was created to help attendees spend less time searching for the right people and more time having the conversations that can genuinely move their business forward.”

The programme will include pre-arranged one-to-one meetings through the SBC Connect app, themed speed-networking sessions, speaker-led discussion groups, topic-focused networking meetups, small-group roundtables and guided tours of the exhibition floor.

The summit’s conference agenda will span six stages and focus on issues affecting the gaming industry across the Americas, including leadership, sports betting and casino, payments and technology, affiliation, regulation and compliance and player protection.

Sessions will examine topics such as leveraging momentum from major international football tournaments, audience engagement through social media platforms, regulatory developments and the future of digital payments.

More than 250 speakers are expected to participate, including executives from betting and gaming companies, technology firms and compliance organisations. Featured speakers include Stephanie De Flora (Chief Marketing Officer at bet365), Ian Botts (Chief Technology Officer at Fanatics Betting & Gaming), Jeanine Hightower-Sellitto (Senior Vice President and General Manager of DraftKings Predictions), and Patrick Kennedy (Former U.S. Representative).

The event will also feature a dedicated Prediction Markets Forum, reflecting growing industry interest in the sector. The forum will explore the expansion of prediction markets, regulatory developments and their potential impact on sports betting and gaming.

Discussion of prediction markets will extend beyond conference sessions through dedicated networking events and roundtables focused on the topic.

On the exhibition floor, companies including BetMGM, Hard Rock Digital, Kambi, OpenBet, Optimove, Soft2Bet and Catena Media will showcase products and services aimed at gaming operators and affiliates across the Americas.

The summit will also host a series of evening networking events, including an opening party at The Wharf on June 9 and the INFINITY Florida Party at DAER Nightclub & Dayclub on June 11, featuring a performance by electronic dance music artist Oliver Heldens.

The week will conclude with the SBC Awards Americas, which will recognise operators, affiliates and suppliers across 34 award categories.
