Stake has launched its online casino and sportsbook in Argentina’s Buenos Aires Province, adding one of the country’s largest regulated markets to its Latin American portfolio.

The company will operate through stake.bet.ar under a license granted by the Provincial Institute of Lottery and Casinos (IPLyC). The launch brings Stake’s sportsbook and casino platform to Argentina’s largest and most populous province, home to more than 17 million people and one of the country’s most significant economic and sporting regions.

Argentinian players will have access to Stake’s sportsbook and casino offerings through a mobile-first platform featuring a range of gaming content tailored to local preferences.

The launch follows Stake’s recent activity across Latin America, including in Mexico, Peru, Brazil and Colombia. According to the company, Argentina’s sporting culture and level of digital adoption made the market an important addition to its regional operations.

The market entry also builds on Stake’s existing connection with local sports fans through its ambassador partnership with former Argentina striker Sergio Aguero.

“Argentina is an important market for us and a natural next step in our expansion across Latin America,” said Diana Otalora, LatAm General Manager at Stake. “There is an incredibly passionate sporting culture, a large and digitally engaged population, and strong long-term potential for Stake.

“We’ve continued to build momentum across Latin America in recent years, and this launch reflects our ambition to establish Stake as the leading entertainment brand in the region,” Otalora added. “Argentina is a market with energy and identity, and we’re excited to bring our world-class sportsbook and casino experience to players through stake.bet.ar.”

Founded in 2017, Stake reports attracting more than 100 million monthly visits across its global domains and processing more than 100 billion bets per year. The brand maintains an extensive global sponsorship portfolio spanning music, sport and culture, with partners including Drake, X Games, Everton Football Club and the UFC.
