Sullivan, Ostapchenko, & Bunch Among Venetian DeepStack Championship Winners

This summer, the Venetian Resort Las Vegas has offered more than $16 million in guarantees in its 2026 Venetian DeepStack Championship, which is comprised of 121 numbered events through August 2.

Two big tournaments remaining on the schedule are a pair of MSPT Main Events – an $1,100 buy-in from July 11-14 and a $1,600 buy-in from July 15-19 – that both offer $1 million guarantees.

Thus far, 69 events have crowned winners, and over that time, has catered to a combined 16,707 entries and awarded $13,456,945 in prize money.

Here’s a look at some of the bigger winners from the series thus far.

UK’s Amber Sullivan Claims LIPS Ladies Title

On June 24, Event #66: $800 NLH LIPS Ladies attracted 314 runners and awarded a $218,230 prize pool, which was paid out to the top 40 finishers.

Among those to cash were Nancy Davilla (34th – $1,766), Daisy King (24th – $1,889), Denise Bronte (17th – $2,646), Angelina Rich (13th – $3,093), Alex Loveless (9th – $4,496), Lauren Bunch (4th – $16,172), and Judith Bielan (3rd – $22,099). In the end, it was the UK’s Amber Sullivan defeating China’s Ludan Zhang in heads-up play to win the tournament for $40,325.

Kent Roman Wins $1,100 Seniors Event

On June 14, Event #44: $1,100 NLH Seniors drew a massive 1,249 entries that generated a $1,199,040 prize pool, which was awarded to the top 188 finishers.

Among those to make deep runs were Dustin Skarra (12th – $10,252), Bob Mather (16th – $8,365), David Gutfreund (23rd – $6,921), Billy Baxter (30th – $5,808), Daniel Fuhs (33rd – $5,808), and Eric Siegel (42nd – $4,946).

Ultimately, it was Michigan’s Kent Roman beating out China’s Chuanshu Chen in heads-up play to win the title and $162,862 first-place prize.

Ostapchenko Nabs a Title

On June 17, Event #54: $1,100 NLH drew 326 entrants and awarded a $314,590 prize pool to the top 41 finishers.

Some familiar names to cash were Peter Jesko (21st – $3,044), Nick Mamut (18th – $3,044), and Cody Wiegmann (4th – $23,261), just to name a few. In the end, well-known poker pro Andrew Ostapchenko defeated Steven Nichols in heads-up play to win the tournament for $62,314.

Bunch Binks Event #68

Event #68: $1,100 NLH featured a $500,000 guarantee, which it obliterated by attracting a $1,441,920 prize pool. That was paid out to the top 189 finishers, and some familiar names to make deep runs were Rex Clinkscales (13th – $13,701), Andrew Moreno (22nd – $9,198), Jennifer Lin (32nd – $7,659), and Carol Harmon (45th – $5,487).

Ultimately, it was two-time WSOP Circuit ring winner Eric Bunch claiming the title and $185,933 in prize money after beating Josh Remitio in heads-up play.
