2026 GUKPT London

The 2026 Grosvenor UK Poker Tour (GUKPT) kicked off at the Grosvenor Casinos’ The Victoria in January, where every event smashed its guarantee. On April 8, the GUKPT returns to The Victoria for the third leg of the season, and everything points to it being another bumper festival.

Everything kicks off at noon on April 9 with the first of five flights in the G500, a £500 buy-in No-Limit Hold’em tournament. Last time this event ran in the English capital, James Mitchell outlasted 512 opponents and banked £47,770 of the £219,311 prize pool.

Between April 9-19, players from far and wide will compete in tournaments such as a £250 Pot-Limit Omaha, a £340 Mini Main, a £1,100 Pot-Limit Omaha High Roller, a £2,000 No-Limit Hold’em High Roller, and the pièce de résistance, the £1,250 buy-in GUKPT London Main Event, which carries a £250,000 guarantee on its prize pool.

Once the live poker wraps up, players can head online to Grosvenor Poker and compete in a £20,000 guaranteed Online Closer costing £110 to enter.

Brandon Sheils Dominated During the Previous GUKPT London

Brandon Sheils
Brandon Sheils

Brandon Sheils is one player all but guaranteed to head to The Victoria for the second GUKPT London of 2026. Sheils has not one but two titles to defend after an impressive showing in January.

The popular British grinder came out on top in the £2,500 No-Limit Hold’em High Roller, a result that added £49,560 to his bankroll. Many players would have been delighted with just that result, but Sheils was hungry for more. He late registered for the £1,250 Main Event, bagged and tagged a big stack, before marching onto victory and scooping £88,760 for his efforts.
