The PartyPoker Tour Heads to Glasgow in August For Leg 6 of 2026

The Alea Casino Glasgow on the bank of the River Clyde is putting together final preparations for hosting the sixth leg of the 2026 PartyPoker Tour. Running from August 3-9, PartyPoker Tour Glasgow boasts a bustling schedule that includes, among its many tournaments, a £500 buy-in, £100,000 guaranteed Main Event.

PartyPoker Tour Glasgow gets underway with the £150 No-Limit Hold’em Mini Main Event on the afternoon of August 3. This is the first of four flights in what will likely be one of the best-attended tournaments on the schedule.

Last year’s Mini Main Event saw Christian Watt leave 467 opponents in his dust as he marched off into the sunset with a £10,260 first-place prize, not a bad result from a £150 investment.

Other No-Limit Hold’em tournaments to look out for include a £200 buy-in bounty, a £100 turbo, a £60 Red River Bounty, and a £1,000 High Roller. Tianyi Jiang is the reigning High Roller champion. Jiang outlasted 33 opponents and padded their bankroll with a £10,900 score in 2025.

A Plethora of Mixed Games

There are plenty of mixed games for PartyPoker Tour Glasgow attendees to get their teeth into, too.

A £60 Pot-Limit H.O.R.S.E., £100 NLHE/PLO mixed event, a £150 PLO 4/5/6 Card, £60 Crazy Pineapple Bounty, a £250 PLO Masters, and a £60 Tennessee Hold’em Glasgow Championship are just a handful of non-Hold’em tournaments taking place.

£100,000 Guaranteed PartyPoker Tour Glasgow Main Event

The £100,000 guaranteed PartyPoker Tour Glasgow Main Event is the showpiece of the stop and the crown jewel of the schedule. Each of its four Day 1s costs £500 to enter, with £455 going into the prize pool and £45 paid as tournament fees. No further deductions are made from the prize pool.

Online satellites from £0.20 are available online at PartyPoker, with live satellites costing £60 or £115 running throughout the live festival at the Alea Casino Glasgow.

When the PartyPoker Tour was last in Glasgow 12 months ago, 256 entrants created a £111,821 prize pool, with the top 39 finishers sharing a slice. The final table was a star-studded affair, housing such luminaries as Kevin Frame, PartyPoker Ambassador Jaime Staples, Dean Lyall, and David Lappin.

Zhen Zhen eventually came out on top, defeating Kyle Scott heads-up, and scooping a £22,500 prize. Scott netted £14,270 for his runner-up finish and is likely to be in Glasgow to try and go one place deeper, especially as he is in good form, having finished 71st in the 2026 WSOP Main Event for a career-high $125,000 at the start of July.
