- UFC Freedom 250 goes down Sunday night from the White House lawn in Washington, D.C.
- Almost every line on the card has moved in one direction, except for one

The UFC Freedom 250 odds have moved a lot this week, and almost all of them point in the same direction. Bettors have hammered the favorites across the board, and the books keep raising prices to keep up. Hokit, Ruffy, O’Malley, and Nickal have all gotten more expensive.
The main event is the lone exception. Ilia Topuria actually got cheaper because the money came in on Justin Gaethje instead.
With the card two nights out, here’s where the UFC Freedom lines opened, where they sit now, and what the movement says about each fight.

Notable UFC Freedom 250 Line Movement
Topuria the Lone Exception
Topuria opened at -600 and has since dropped to -535, while Gaethje has moved from +440 to +400. This is the only fight on the card where the underdog is drawing significant action.
The reasoning is twofold. At -600, bettors felt the champ was overpriced and started chasing the plus money on a proven lightweight in Gaethje.
There’s also the size factor, since Topuria moved up from featherweight and Gaethje is a natural 155-pounder with real knockout power. The champ should still win, but the market clearly thinks -600 was too rich.
Hokit Getting Pounded
Hokit moved from -345 to -410, the biggest pure steam job on the card. The undefeated prospect is a brutal stylistic problem for a 41-year-old Derrick Lewis, whose takedown defense has slipped badly in recent years.
Bettors see a young, athletic wrestler against a declining veteran who needs the knockout or nothing. Hokit should be able to ground Lewis early and keep him there. The money has poured in accordingly, and the price keeps climbing.
Ruffy Line Keeps Climbing
Ruffy was already the biggest favorite on the card at -625, and the line pushed all the way to -700. Chandler is 40 now, has lost three in a row, and has taken a brutal amount of damage over his career.
Ruffy is the sharper, faster striker, and bettors are treating this as a near-certainty for a knockout. When a favorite this big keeps getting steamed, the market has basically written off the underdog.
O’Malley and Nickal Climbing
O’Malley jumped from -395 to -440 against Aiemann Zahabi. Some of that is public money loading the former champ into parlays on a primetime card, but the matchup backs it up. O’Malley has real advantages in height, reach, and speed, and Zahabi hasn’t faced a striker at this level during his win streak.
Nickal moved from -310 to -355 against Kyle Daukaus. He opened at a discount after his first career loss, and bettors jumped on that number quickly. Daukaus is a solid grappler, but few believe he can handle Nickal’s wrestling for three rounds.
Lopes vs Garcia Won’t Budge
The featherweight opener is the only fight that hasn’t moved at all, sitting at -162/+136 since it opened. Every time money comes in on Lopes and his grappling, an equal amount hits Garcia and his seven-fight knockout streak.
It’s a clean striker-versus-grappler matchup where neither side has separated itself, so the number just sits. Pereira vs Gane has barely budged either, though Gane drew enough light action to nudge from a slight underdog to a slight favorite. It’s still essentially a pick’em.
Expect the lines to keep tightening as the UFC Freedom 250 card gets closer. The chalk has carried the betting so far, and unless something changes before Sunday night, most favorites should close even shorter than they sit now.
