  • The last time USA met Belgium, the teams combined for seven goals
  • I have found three plus-money goalscorer picks and assist props to target
  • Below, see my USA vs Belgium anytime goal and assist picks for July 7

The United States and Belgium will meet at 5:00 pm PT/8:00 pm ET on Monday night in Seattle. Earlier today, FIFA announced that USA striker Folarin Balogun would be eligible to play despite picking up a red card last time out.

I already touched on the USA/Belgium line movement following that controversial decision. In addition to noticeable moneyline shifts, the goalscorer and assist markets also moved somewhat when Balogun was ruled eligible.

The table below summarizes my three USA vs Belgium player-prop picks, including an anytime goalscorer bet, an anytime assist prop, and a goal-OR-assist pick.

USA vs Belgium Goalscorer Picks & Assist Props

All three of these picks are in plus-money, despite the market – in general – anticipating a high-scoring game. The latest USA vs Belgium odds.price over 2.5 goals at a short 59 cents (-144 odds).

Leandro Trossard 1+ Assist (15¢ / +567 at Kalshi)

Leandro Trossard is my favorite value on the board. His 1+ goal price has shortened to 22¢ since yesterday, though, while his 1+ assist contract is available at only 15¢.

Trossard’s recent stats support leaning into the cheaper assist pick: he assisted in Belgium’s 3-2 extra-time win over Senegal on July 1, playing 109 minutes and earning an 8.4 rating, after scoring twice in the 5-1 win over New Zealand.

Across Belgium’s four World Cup matches, he has logged 90, 90, 72 and 109 minutes, so the role is secure enough to trust. He also scored against Tunisia in Belgium’s final warm-up, and his Arsenal logs show multiple recent assists, including against PSG, Fulham and Bayer Leverkusen.

Against an American defense that has already conceded four times in four matches, I prefer the 15¢ assist route because it benefits from Belgium’s overall chance creation rather than requiring Trossard to finish the move himself.

Youri Tielemans 1+ Goal (11¢ / +809 at Kalshi)

Youri Tielemans is the best long-shot goalscorer on the board, and his recent game logs strengthen the case that this is not just a dart throw. His goal-or-assist price is 23¢, but the 11¢ anytime goal contract is the sharper value.

Tielemans scored twice in Belgium’s 3-2 extra-time win over Senegal last time out, earning an 8.6 match rating while playing all 120 minutes. He logged 90, 90, 85 and 120 minutes across Belgium’s four tournament matches.

Zooming out, he has three goals and two assists in his last seven Belgium appearances since April, including a goal against Croatia and assists against Tunisia and Mexico.

At roughly +809 implied odds, that recent end product and secure role make him worth attacking before settling for shorter prices.

Christian Pulisic 1+ Goal or Assist (46¢ / +117 at Kalshi)

Christian Pulisic is the only USA player I am adding to my card. His 32¢ anytime goal price is not cheap enough to make him a pure scorer pick, but the 46¢ goal-or-assist market better captures his role as the Americans’ primary attacking outlet.

Pulisic assisted in the USA’s 4-1 World Cup win over Paraguay on June 13, had a goal and an assist in the May 31 friendly win over Senegal, and also assisted against Japan in September.

In the World Cup, he has played meaningful attacking minutes – including 88 minutes in the 2-0 win over Bosnia & Herzegovina – so if the United States score, Pulisic is one of the likeliest players to either take the shot or provide the final pass.

That makes this a more balanced way to get USA exposure than paying 40¢ for Balogun to score only.
