Cyndi Lauper will perform her first Las Vegas residency with six dates at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace this spring: April 24, 25 and 29 and May 1-2.

Cyndi Lauper, who will be inducted in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame on November 8, just had the star-studded Hollywood Bowl stop on her farewell tour made into a two-hour special broadcast last week by CBS-TV. (Image: Live Nation)

Live Nation is calling her run in Las Vegas “an opportunity for fans who missed her Farewell Tour to celebrate one last time.”

Hard Cowboy Boots to Fill

Tim McGraw is stepping into four of the six dates vacated by Dolly Parton at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace during National Finals Rodeo week. Parton, 79, postponed the dates last month, blaming unspecified “health challenges.”

According to a press release, “Tim McGraw: Live in Vegas” will take place on Dec. 4, 6, 12, and 13, 2025. Tickets are on sale now.

More than One Direction

Another former One Direction member who isn’t Harry Styles is bringing a show to Las Vegas.

Louis Tomlinson follows his fellow former boy bandmate, Zayn Malik, onto the Strip with his “How Did We Get Here?” tour, scheduled to stop at Resorts World Theatre on Saturday, June 13.

Tickets go on sale 10 a.m. Friday, October 10 via rwlasvegas.com.

ABBAtar Update

“ABBA Voyage,” the hit stage production running for three years in London, is reportedly in talks with Bally’s Corp. to become the permanent headliner in a 2,500-seat theater in the recently proposed as part of the casino resort adjacent to A’s Stadium.

The theater would need to be custom built to accommodate the avatar production, which has sold more than 3 million tickets so far.

This is according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, however, which also told us back in June that “ABBA Voyage” was “coming to Resorts World Las Vegas, possibly to be announced as early as this summer.”

So don’t quite take that to the bank.

Construction on the theater at Bally’s won’t even start until after the baseball stadium opens, which is currently set to happen in 2028.
