The move up a weight class fits him too. Ditching the middleweight cut should leave him fresher at this stage of his career. He’s also spent years sharing the cage with tall, rangy strikers like Israel Adesanya, so Krylov’s size won’t catch him off guard.

Krylov’s power is the great equalizer here. “The Miner” put Modestas Bukauskas away with a clean overhand right in January. He carries a genuine submission threat as well if this hits the mat.
