Winners From The 2025 Venetian DeepStack NYE Series

The DeepStack Extravaganza NYE festival kicked off at Venetian Las Vegas on Dec. 24, 2025, and offered more than $1.6 million in guaranteed prize pools over 50 numbered events through Jan. 19, 2026. All told, the series catered to a combined 5,095 entrants and awarded $1,964,660 in prize money.

That included the first event of the Major Series of Poker: The Tour (MSPT) Season 17 in the the $1,600 buy-in, $500K GTD New Year’s Poker Open, which was won by Matthew Wantman for $96,284.

Another big winner from the series was Jeremy Becker, who topped a 406-entry field to win Event #9: $1,100 NLH Ultimate Stack. He earned $71,805 for that victory, which you can read about here.

Here’s a look at some other winners from the Venetian DeepStack Extravaganza NYE.

WSOP Bracelet Winner Claims Two Titles

On January 2, Donnell Dais topped a 52-entry field to win Event #27: $200 NLH Bounty for $1,617, and then six days later, he was victorious over an 85-entry field to win Event #37: $200 NLH Bounty for $2,503.

With the wins, Dais, a regular in Venetian poker events, is closing in on $100K in lifetime earnings on The Hendon Mob. He currently sits with $98,424 in lifetime live tournament earnings, including a career-high $19,477 for finishing ninth in the 2018 WSOP Circuit New Orleans Main Event.

However, Dais is also an accomplished online player and in 2021 won an online gold bracelet when he took down the WSOP Online Event #3: $500 NLH Turbo Deepstack for $90,801. Andrew Neeme finished sixth in that event for $14,022.

Back-to-Back Titles for Siriwan Sukmekerd

On January 17, Siriwan Sukmekerd bested a 74-entry field to win Event #49: $250 NLH Bounty for $3,033, and then the following day navigated a 67-entry field to win Event #50: $200 NLH Bounty for $1,431 and to give her back-to-back titles.

The wins brought Sukmekerd up to $455,018 in lifetime earnings according to The Hendon Mob, which puts her 13th on Thailand’s all-time money list. She was fresh off winning $32,000 for finishing 25th in the 2025 WPT Prime Championship in December, which was her second-highest career score behind the $48,039 she received for finishing runner-up in the 2011 Wynn Classic $500 NLH.

The next series is already underway at the Venetian. The DeepStack Showdown (January/February) kicked off on January 19 and will run through February 8 offering more than $1.2 million in guaranteed prize pools.
