World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) and White Hat Studios have introduced a new online slot game titled WrestleMania: Road to Gold, launching exclusively on Fanatics Casino for players in regulated U.S. markets. The real-money casino game debuted as anticipation builds for WrestleMania 42, scheduled for April 18–19, 2026, in Las Vegas.
The title incorporates well-known WWE personalities and event themes into a casino format designed for fans of professional wrestling. A total of 20 WWE superstars appear in the game, including Cody Rhodes and Rhea Ripley, while longtime WWE commentator Michael Cole provides in-game narration intended to recreate the feel of ringside coverage.
The slot is available to Fanatics Casino users in Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia through the platform’s iOS, Android, and web applications.
Unlock Trail Feature Follows WWE Event Journey
The core gameplay structure follows what developers call the Unlock Trail, which takes players through several of WWE’s major premium live events. Each stage reflects a well-known event in the wrestling calendar and introduces progressive bonus mechanics as the player advances.
These stages include SummerSlam, Survivor Series, Royal Rumble, Elimination Chamber, and Money in the Bank®. Each event milestone increases the potential rewards and leads toward the final stage centered on WrestleMania.
The design incorporates elements from WWE’s long-running entertainment history. In a statement announcing the release, the company said the game draws on “more than 70 years of entertainment heritage” and aims to give fans “a new way to interact with the global brand.”
Developers also emphasized the scale of the project in terms of licensed content. The combination of wrestlers, events, and broadcast-style presentation has been described as one of the most extensive WWE-themed games created for the online casino market.
Collaboration Between WWE, White Hat Studios, and Fanatics
The slot was developed by White Hat Studios in partnership with WWE and Fanatics Casino. Armen Tatarevic, vice president of gaming at White Hat Studios, said the collaboration focused on translating WWE’s identity into a casino format.
“WWE is an iconic brand steeped in entertainment history, and the aim was to collaborate closely to channel that legacy into WrestleMania: Road to Gold,” Tatarevic said. “From superstar athletes to headline events, there are numerous touchpoints that fans will enjoy, and this is a major IP launch for White Hat Studios as we continue to deliver a main event experience to casino players in the United States.”
Fanatics executives also issued a statement in which the company highlighted the strategic role of licensed entertainment properties within the company’s gaming platform.
“WWE is a worldwide entertainment phenomenon, and the energy of the brand has been captured perfectly in WrestleMania®: Road to Gold,” said Conor Grant, president of casino at Fanatics Betting and Gaming. “This new WWE-branded experience on Fanatics Casino reflects our strategy to leverage the power of Fanatics IP assets to offer customers a premium, differentiated experience.”
Fanatics Expands Casino Offering
Fanatics Casino has been expanding its online gaming portfolio as it builds a presence across multiple areas of the sports and entertainment industry. The platform launched in 2021 and now operates in several regulated markets in the United States. Its online casino product is currently active in four states. The company also operates a sportsbook and runs a major sports merchandise business.
Fanatics partnered with White Hat Studios in 2024 to bring the developer’s portfolio of casino games to its platform. Since then, additional titles have been added as the platform grows its catalog of sports-themed games. The WWE slot joins a lineup that already includes other wrestling-inspired titles such as WWE Blackjack, Raw Multiplier Melee, SmackDown Big Money Entrance!, WWE Bonus Rumble Gold Blitz, and WWE Clash of the Wilds.
WWE Popularity Continues to Grow
The new casino game arrives during a period of renewed momentum for WWE. The company traces its roots back to 1953, when it operated as the Capitol Wrestling Corporation, and it has grown into a global sports entertainment brand.
Recent developments have expanded WWE’s audience further. The company’s programming began streaming on Netflix in January 2025, bringing WWE RAW to the platform and introducing the product to new viewers.
Attendance figures at major events have also remained strong. WrestleMania 39 in 2023 drew a combined crowd of 161,892 over two nights, setting an attendance record for the event.
With WrestleMania returning to Las Vegas in April 2026, the launch of WrestleMania: Road to Gold provides WWE fans and casino players with another themed experience tied to the company’s biggest annual show.
