- The Cadillac Championship tees off Thursday, April 30, in the latest PGA Tour signature event
- Scottie Scheffler is the heavy favorite to win over Cameron Young
- See my 2026 Cadillac Championship picks, best value bets, and the odds to win the tournament
After the PGA Tour hosted the Zurich Classic, the only official team event on the calendar, which was won by brothers Matt and Alex Fitzpatrick, it’s back to individual golf this week. Matt Fitzpatrick has opted not to compete, along with reigning Masters champion Rory McIlroy, who will sit out his second straight signature event.
After a decade hiatus, the PGA Tour is back at Trump National Doral Miami, where the famed ‘blue monster’ is lurking to swallow up errant shots into a watery grave. Scottie Scheffler, who was runner-up to McIlroy at the Masters, is the heavy favorite to win for the second time this season (The American Express).
Cadillac Championship Odds (2026)
I’m starting my card this week with Viktor Hovland at +3300, which is longer odds than the top-nine golfers on the board. There’s a reason for that, and that’s because he’s not been firing on all cylinders. However, golf is such a close game, and it’s not like he’s been really struggling.
The Norwegian has racked up for top-20s, including a tie for 18th at the first major of the year at Augusta National. With most of the top players having not competed at Doral (including Hovland), there’s no obvious course history advantage for most of those teeing it up.
Odds as of 8:38 pm ET on Sunday, April 26th, at DraftKings. Check out the full list of DraftKings deposit methods.
When I make my wagers in the outright winner market, I go for players who are bit longer shots, knowing how hard it is to be right – but if you are, and wagered on someone a bit down the board, the payout is great. That strategy has been profitable for me in 2026, hitting on three winners. I like Hovland’s pedigree (seven victories) and think he’s primed to get back in the winner’s circle (last win 2025 Valspar Championship).
Cadillac Championship 2026 Picks & Value Bets
- Jacob Bridgeman +4200: He might not be as red hot as he was a few months ago, but Jacob Bridgeman has had a fantastic year, with the Genesis Invitational crown for his first PGA Tour triumph. That was part of a stretch of eight straight top-20s. He’s cooled off somewhat since, with T-41 and T-33 showings at the Masters and RBC Heritage, but I’m still confident backing him at this price point.
- Justin Thomas +5600: This is a number that pops out at me immediately, because if he was on his game, Justin Thomas would easily be in the top-five choices to win outright. JT has had middling results in the five tournaments that he’s played following a back injury, highlighted by a tie for eighth at the Players Championship. This number on Thomas will almost assuredly get bet down as the tournament nears.
- Sahith Theegala +7000: Sahith Theegala rather quietly has had a bounce back 2026, following a miserable campaign. He’s racked up eight top-25s in twelve starts, including a quartet of top-10s. The value is too good to pass up for me at +7000, as he searches for win #2 of his career on the main circuit.
- Ryo Hisatsune +8000: This is a name very familiar to readers of my articles in a nearly week-in, week-out basis. I can’t quit him, because the odds are so long, plus the Japanese sensation is on the cusp of his first title. This season, he’s posted four top-10’s, including a tie for eighth two starts ago at the Valero Texas Open. While winning might be a bit too much of a stretch, he’ll be interesting to monitor in the top 5/10/20 markets.
